# List Transactions

> Returns your wallet ledger: deposits, order payments, refunds and adjustments

## List Transactions

`GET /api/v1/transactions`

Returns every movement on your wallets, one row per movement, with the wallet balance right after it. Use it to reconcile top-ups, order payments and refunds against your own records.

Uses the `read_wallets` permission, which every API key already has, so you don't need a new key.

### Query Parameters

| `start_date` | date | — | Only transactions on or after this date, e.g. `2026-10-01` (UTC, inclusive) |
| `end_date` | date | — | Only transactions on or before this date, e.g. `2026-10-31` (UTC, inclusive) |
| `sort` | string | `desc` | `asc` for oldest first, `desc` for newest first |
| `per_page` | integer | 15 | Number of items per page (max: 100) |
| `page` | integer | 1 | Page number |

<Tip>
  For a full period, use `start_date`, `end_date` and `sort=asc`, then follow `links.next` until it is `null`.

### Responses

| `200 OK` | Successful operation |
| `401 Unauthorized` | Missing or invalid authentication token |
| `403 Forbidden` | Access denied |
| `422 Unprocessable Entity` | Invalid filter, e.g. `end_date` before `start_date` or a `wallet_id` that isn't yours |

### Fields

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| `id` | Transaction id. For order payments this equals the order's `transaction_id`. |
| `type` | `deposit` (top-up), `orderPayment`, `creditAdjustment` (e.g. a refund), `debitAdjustment`, `withdraw` |
| `description` | For adjustments this says what it was for, e.g. which order a refund belongs to |
| `amount` | Signed: negative when money leaves the wallet. See [Money Values](/#money-values). |
| `balance_after` | Wallet balance right after this transaction |
| `order` | Set for order payments: the order's `ulid` and `order_number` |
| `deposit` | Set for deposits: our deposit `id` and the `reference` you entered when submitting the deposit |
| `created_at` | When the transaction happened (UTC) |
